ABOUT RONNIE

Thirty-something years ago, my husband taught me how to use a film camera.  With four children, all photography got put aside except for family photos.  In 2010, all our children were "launched” into the world and I retired from my career as a Registered Nurse. My husband surprised me with a Nikon and it re-awakened my love of nature.

As a young child, I collected all kinds of animals and even put bees in my pockets; now, I photograph bees with my EpiPen in hand.  I spend hours behind the lens(es) of my camera, photographing flora and fauna (especially butterflies and birds).

I hope you feel the same joy in the images that I felt while observing our diverse surroundings in the Central Coast and beyond.
